Pregnant in Red Bottoms

pregnant style, maternity fashion, pregnant fashion, ananda saba, super fashionable, pregnant blogger, spiked louboutin, camo valentino clutch, green leather jacket, mama in heels tshirt

Happy Thursday loves! Today I’m pregnant in red bottoms and it’s all because of this perfect tee I received from Oh Baby Chic, it’s so me as I’m a total and complete “Mama in Heels”! Yes, sometimes I do have to wear flats, not by choice, but swollen feet necessity haha.  However, whenever I can, I love to wear my heels.  The weather here in Florida has been getting a little colder which I’m so thrilled about, so I was finally able to wear this green jacket I got from Zara a few months ago and has just been sitting in my closet begging to be worn.  I can’t wait to start wearing all my fall/winter clothes again.  I think being pregnant this time of the year is probably the best thing in the world! I can’t imagine walking around with this huge belly when that Florida humidity is in the air – if you’ve been to Florida during the summer you know what I’m talking about.  So it’s finally time to dust off my boots and jackets! Yay!

Brushstroke Shift Dress

DSC_0368

Being pregnant means a lot of shift dresses! Now days whenever I walk into a store I search for these dresses and love it when I find something that looks super trendy and cute and has a perfect fit around my now nonexistent waist. This brushstroke shift dress from Forever21 was only, and I mean only….$15.84.  I know, crazy!  Just because a dress is super inexpensive doesn’t mean your look needs to be casual.  I love to pair inexpensive pieces with expensive ones and honestly, nobody would know that I only paid $15 for this super cute dress when its a little glammed up.  I love that!

Plaid Jacket Look

Happy Tuesday Fashionistas! I just love a weekend that is full of fun, celebrations and relaxation all in one.  It’s hard for a weekend like that to happen, but this past weekend was just that, a super fun one where I had the pleasure of celebrating the birthday of a good friend as well as my little sister who is now 20! Ah, I’m feeling old! Even though it was an incredible weekend I’m super excited for this week that just started as I’ll be spending it in Dana Point, CA. I’ve been to Los Angeles many times, however Dana Point is a very first for me and I’m excited to explore the city.  Make sure to check my instagram for pictures of my trip!
This Tuesday’s look is one I love! Super simple, with basic pieces, but yet so chic.  This plaid jacket from H&M was one I fell in love with at very first sight.  It’s such a perfect jacket for this time of the year when one day is 80 degrees and the next is 60.  Oh, and how incredible is this Lotus Flower ring from Lina Shatara?! I adore Lotus flowers, so this ring was a super wow piece for me. I love it.

Trench Coat Look

DSC_0217

A  trench coat is such an easy and classic staple piece for this time of the year and all the way until early spring depending where you live.  I’ve had this tan trench coat from Kenneth Cole for years now (and I mean years), and every fall/winter I bring it out for those super windy or rainy days.  This trench coat never fails me and it goes with pretty much anything! This look in particular is a more casual look, with a little fun added by a touch of color and my 7 For All Mankind Leopard Jeans that I’ve worn  way too much lately! I think I need an intervention, I just love them!  Anyways, for this look I chose to add red as my little pop of color as I love the combo black/tan/red – I added in the red by wearing my cross-body Gucci Soho Leather Disco Bag (which is great when you are  busy and on the go!) and my super, and I do mean SUPER, comfortable Tory Burch Calf Hair Jess Flats.  By the way I’m not one of those girls who don’t believe in mixing brown and black.  I’m super ok with it and will do it a lot, as long as the brown isn’t a super dark brown…because then it just looks weird!  If you mix a lighter brown with black I actually think it can look super chic and put together.  Leopard prints are a great example of how brown and black can look amazing together especially when the brown is just the right shade. It was a really windy day here in Orlando, Florida and this look got me through an entire day of running around and doing errands.  Just perfect. 🙂
