We Are All Cool Kids

le motto, we are all cool kids, tobi, pink jacket, ripped shorts,

Hi lovies, hope everyone is having a beautiful week so far! These past few days I’ve been a total daisy dukes obsessed human being, I’ve literally worn my shorts almost everyday and figured why not wear it at night too! I know, a little much, but I live in Florida and the heat here is pretty out of control right now.  Only thing getting me by is an awesome pair of shorts! haha. For this look, which I totally wore to dinner…I added a light blazer (because we all know restaurants like to keep it really cold!) and my awesome new T-shirt from Le Motto.  Obviously its easy to take this look from day to night just by your shoes.  If I was wearing flats = day time, but since I put on these sick gladiators from JustFab…then = night time. So easy!

Black and White Mix of Prints

DSC_0012

Hi loves! Hope everyone is having a perfect week so far. Right now I’m loving this black and white mix of prints moment! Mixing prints is not as terrifying as it might seem sometimes – the simple and most basic trick is to pull prints that have a similar color palette and you’ll get a look that’s put together. That’s it! Promise! Obviously black and white are the easiest colors to experiment a little mix of prints with…so give it a go next time you’re just looking around in your closet having zero clue what to wear! You might just find your new favorite outfit. 🙂

Little Black Bump Dress

DSC_0115

This is my last pregnant look on the blog and I have to say It’s been an amazing journey the past 9 months.  It’s been full of #bumpstyle looks and me trying to look cute and fashionable while my body was going through the biggest and most amazing transformation ever.  I’m excited to be at the end of my pregnancy and embark on the next big journey of motherhood and trying to get my body back to normal.  This last look is a perfect little black dress look that I would totally wear for Valentine’s Day if I was still pregnant – hopefully I won’t be! haha.  The dress is from H&M, simple and flowy, but my favorite part of it all are the maternity pantyhose from Blanqi! How cute are they!? Blanqi has a ton of maternity pantyhose in all kinds of super cute designs that will make any simple outfit have a little hint of sexy.  Hope you guys like it!

Green Beaded Kimono and Rocksbox Offer

DSC_0193

Hi loves! So I’ve finally arrived at my last month of pregnancy and it’s really insane how quickly time has gone by.  Since my little girl will be here in the next few weeks or so, the husband and I have been trying to squeeze in as many little romantic dates as possible.  This look is super simple and an easy date night one for an extremely pregnant, almost ready to pop lady like me.  All basics with a touch of fun.  I loved this Kimono top I found at H&M, the color is beautiful for this time of the year and the beading on it is pretty spectacular.  It’s a piece I can wear now and easily wear when I’m no longer pregnant.  My black maternity top is from Blanqi and it has honestly been such a life saver during my pregnancy and especially towards the end of it.   This top is stretchy in all the right places and it’s just long enough so I can wear it with leggings or jeans without showing my belly and still feeling comfortable – because trust me, those awesome tops you love now won’t cover your entire belly after a while.  My super cute earrings are from Rocksbox and if you don’t know what that is yet you are missing out! Check out their incredible jewelry program and get your first month free by using code “anandaxoxo” (offer ends January 31st). Go check out Rocksbox and don’t miss out – You’re going to love love love it!

Black and White Striped Dress

Another little black and white outfit this week.  I LOVE this black and white striped dress from Zara. It’s not a maternity dress and I’ve had it for quite a little while now, so when I put it on and realized the material was stretchy enough to comfortably accommodate my belly I was so excited! I love this look, especially now that my belly is big enough that I actually look pregnant and not like I ate 20 burgers haha. Horizontal stripes do make you look wider, that’s a fact, but when they are super wide like these ones the effect is not as drastic as if the stripes were smaller.  So if you want to wear horizontal, try to go for wider stripes since it gives us less of that ‘wide’ illusion. You can especially help minimize the illusion by adding a nice vest or jacket to break up the pattern like I did in some of the pictures.  Hope you love it!
